Call of the president

You can surely remember the port explosion in Beirut in 2020, where the capital had its worst day due to government failure. As a result, Lebanon is currently experiencing the worst economic crisis in its history. The currency has lost over 90% of its value compared to 2019. The inflation of the Lebanese pound is reaching new highs, has pushed thousands of Lebanese into poverty and has made imports much more expensive. As a result, more and more companies went bankrupt and unemployment rose rapidly.

The hard-hit country lacks infrastructural and vital goods:
- fuel
-        Medicine
- electricity
-        Food
-        Hygiene products
- and much more.

In order to help the needy, the “Lebanese Club Austria” has committed itself to helping and collecting medicines, money and donations in kind and sending them to Lebanon in cooperation with local aid organizations and the Austrian Red Cross.
